What is the standard check-in / check-out time?
Standard check-in is from 2:30 pm (14:30 hrs) and check-out is by 11:30 am. Timings may occasionally vary by season; your confirmed booking voucher will contain the exact check-in/out details. For any assistance, call us at +91 4936 237312 or +91 80753 91908.Do you serve breakfast?
Yes. We serve a limited Malayali breakfast and other home-cooked meals through the day. Available meal options are shared at the time of booking.Is there a restaurant?
There is no on-site restaurant. We do offer home-cooked meals on guest request; please note that menu options are limited and seasonal in nature.Do you have a parking facility?
Yes, we have on-site free parking.Are there rooms with private bathrooms?
Yes. All rooms and cottages at Kaivalyam Homestay come with private bathrooms.Are there rooms with a balcony?
Yes — our Luxury Cottage has a balcony, a lounge and a terrace space.What is the difference between a 'Luxury Cottage' and a 'Classic Room'?
The Luxury Cottage is a private, standalone building designed for complete privacy. A Classic Room is part of a building that may have other rooms occupied by other guests at the same time.Is there a swimming pool or a spa?
Kaivalyam Homestay does not have a swimming pool or a spa. However, there are several spas nearby to choose from.What attractions are nearby for us to visit?

Booking & Payment
Can I make a booking over the phone?
Yes. Simply call us on +91 4936 237312 / +91 80753 91908 (Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm).What modes of payment do you accept?
For online bookings we accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex, major debit and credit cards, net banking from major Indian banks, and UPI payments.I have made a booking. What happens next?
Once your booking and payment are completed, we send a confirmation email to the address you registered. Please carry a printout (or a copy) of the confirmation voucher and present it at the Kaivalyam Homestay reception during check-in.How do I know if my booking was successful?
After the payment process is completed you will receive an email confirmation with your voucher. If you do not receive it, please contact us.Should I re-confirm my booking?
No. Once you receive your confirmed reservation voucher you don't need to re-confirm. If you'd still like to, call us at +91 4936 237312 / +91 80753 91908 or email Stay@kaivalyamhomestay.com.I completed the payment but didn't receive a confirmation email, and my money was deducted. What should I do?
This can happen due to a slow connection or during net-banking payments. Please call us at +91 4936 237312 / +91 80753 91908 with the bank name, the amount deducted, the voucher number (if any) and the mode of transaction. If the booking is incomplete, the full deducted amount is refunded to your account within 3 to 5 working days; if it is complete, we will email your confirmation voucher.I entered the wrong email while booking and have not received my voucher. What should I do?

Children below 6 years stay complimentary without an extra bed. Children aged 6 to 12 are charged INR 1,000 + GST without an extra bed (sharing the parents’ bed). Adults and children above 12 are charged INR 1,250 + GST and are provided an extra bed. A maximum of one extra bed can be placed in a room. Please declare the number of children and their ages at the time of booking.Can I book more than three adults in one room?
We allow up to four adults in certain room categories at an additional cost. If a category does not permit more than three adults, you may need to book an additional room.I need a specific type of room (e.g. wheelchair-friendly). Can you arrange it?

Check-in & ID
What documents do I need to check in?
A valid government-approved photo ID is mandatory at check-in — Driving Licence, Voter ID or Passport. Please note: PAN cards are not accepted as valid ID proof. Foreign nationals should present a valid passport (and visa where applicable).Can I do an early check-in or late check-out?
Standard check-in is 2:30 pm and check-out is 11:30 am. Early check-in or late check-out is allowed subject to room availability and may carry an additional charge if it exceeds about 3 hours beyond the standard time.Will you hold my room if I'm checking in late?
With a confirmed reservation we hold your room until 9:00 pm on your scheduled arrival date. If you expect to arrive later, please call or email us in advance and we will assist you.Can I request airport transfers or other services?

How can I change or cancel my confirmed booking?

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy on the website. Note that a booking cannot be cancelled on the scheduled check-in date.What are the cancellation charges?
Charges depend on your room type, the season (off-season or peak), and how far before check-in you cancel. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.I didn't check in at all — will I get a refund?
No. A failure to check in is treated as a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.How will I get my money back after cancelling?
Approved refunds are credited back to the same account used for the booking, after applicable deductions as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.How soon will I receive my refund?
Refunds are initiated promptly and may take up to about 15 working days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank. Your bank may apply separate charges on refunds to a card or account.I still haven't received my refund. What should I do?
